Sasia abnormis
was mist netted by TG and KB in flood riverine scrube near Tanjong Puting,and singles were seen in dead brush in the upper Barito.
Picoides
canicapillus
and P.moluccensis
are simpatric in the Banjarmasin region.Although habitats probably don't overlap.
P.moluccensis
appears to occur mainly in open habitats towards the coast,while canicapillus
was seen only in forest clearing inland and a long the Murung River in the upper Barito.
